A new year, a new beginning. Here at Palko we always set a new goal for the coming year, and I am happy to report that each year, with your help, we have achieved our goals. Often, as in 2016, we have far surpassed these goals. We attribute this success to our great staff, our trusted vendors, our wonderful retailers, and of course to Jim Palko and his family who had a vision to find the best products in the industry and provide the best service possible for our retailers and vendors. It has been a winning combination for 33 years, and our 65 employees are committed to this great service every day. We want you to enjoy your relationship with Palko, so please let us know how we are doing.
Palko Show 2017
The registration form for our next Palko show is up on our website, or you may ask for one when you call. Our speakers have been chosen, the rooms are reserved (hurry to get yours at the Palko price), menus are being set, the theme has been announced, discounts are coming in, and we are all excited about this upcoming event. We hope you are putting the Palko Show on your 2017 calendar and planning to come.
It will be a
Flower Power themed event, so be prepared to have some fun with all of the Palko staff. Pre-register to receive your show order book in advance. This book, published only once a year, contains all the UPC codes, and also lists all the discounts available for the show (and there are lots!). This book will be mailed to your store the week before the show so you can do an inventory before you leave. The Radisson, where we have held all our past events, is being torn down, so, the new location is the Blue Chip Casino and Stardust Convention Center right here in Michigan City, Indiana. Yes, I said casino. So if you are not sitting in on education seminars or dining with Palko there is a lot more to do at the hotel. Of course we want your full attention from 9:30a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Saturday and 4:00p.m. Sunday, but after we all go to bed we hope you enjoy the hotel and casino.
Website, Twitter and Facebook
If you use the computer, we hope you are utilizing our user-friendly website. It is so simple, and our retailers tell us that they love it. Besides placing an order on our website you can also research products, read updates about our company, see MAP policies and report MAP violators, register for the Palko show, find out the Palko Show details, and so much more. We also encourage you to follow us on Facebook and Twitter. Our staff keeps current events updated on these pages. We share lots of pictures of our activities, such as trade shows, trainings, recent events, upcoming events, etc. (If we cannot open the office due to wintry weather it will be announced on Facebook and Twitter.) There is always something new posted on the Palko Services Facebook and Twitter pages.
January is the month that many vendors have price changes, usually increases not decreases. Our catalog is current as of the 10th of the month prior when we go to print. We try to keep the prices current, but occasionally the prices change in the middle of the month. To be sure that you get the price you expect please verify the price when you place your orders.
As I write this, it is -1 degree here in Indiana. It may be warm where you are, but your orders are shipped from the cold state of Indiana. If your order has to travel through temperatures below 10 degrees we will not automatically ship any items listed as
freezable, and with Colloidal Silver the minimum temperature is 25 degrees. There are 3 options for these items during this cold time:
freezableproduct and ship the rest of the order.
If the freezable item is removed the remaining order must meet the minimum for free shipping. We are watching a 5-day forecast for the whole country to make sure that your order arrives safely to your store.

Whether it has been a fantastic year or a difficult one, we hope you have reasons to celebrate this holiday season. We at Palko Services sure do. Table Top Show - Flower Power
Plans are being finalized for our 2017 Customer Appreciation Weekend. This year we have a change of venue. The Palko Show will be held at the Stardust Event Center in the Blue Chip Casino in Michigan City, IN. This area is not far from a marina on Lake Michigan, the Michigan City Zoo, great outlet mall shopping, and even a Craft Brewery with excellent food. The new event center offers Palko a chance to have even more brands participating on the show floor. The seminars are nearly booked up already, and this year we are offering a few 30 minute seminars to squeeze in even more educational opportunities for both our stores and our brands.
Look for our registration forms in January's catalog, the Palko website, or on our social media outlets. Remember to put #PalkoShow on social media and share your thoughts, memories, or excitement with other attendees. Make plans now to attend.
Palko will be exhibiting at the NPA Southeast (SOHO) show December 3rd & 4th in Florida. We will have show deals for our stores beginning December 5th. You can get a copy of these deals from your Sales Rep via fax, e-mail, Facebook, Twitter, our website, or even via US Mail if you wish. The preliminary list of discounts exceeds 60 participating brands, do not miss out on these specials. Come by the Palko booth to see Debbie Palko, Steve Palko, Heather, Shorty and Rachel and to get your Palko hugs. You can also visit with our booth sharers, Arthur Andrew Medical, East Park Research, Clear Products, Kava King and Berry Sleepy. Remember attendees often have some specials that are not available for non-attending stores. Be sure to check in at booth #400, 402, 404, & 406 and see our new products or hot and learn about some of our best sellers.
Year-End Delayed Shipments
We know that many of you would like to take advantage of the Florida Show Deals, and any end-of-the-year specials, but do not want the product to arrive until after the New Year. Palko has committed to assisting stores with this request. NPA SE show deal orders must be ordered by December 9th and invoiced before December 30th, but we can hold these orders and ship them to you to arrive on or after Monday, January 2nd if you would like. We also can hold regular orders as well, but they must be invoiced by December 30th, to make our 2016 as successful as possible. Please contact your Sales Rep and to discuss the details and make arrangements.
It is that time of year again. Manufacturers are busy with price changes for the New Year. It is often very hard for us to keep up with price changes as they happen. This December catalog was up-to-date as of November 10th, 2016. Price changes happen between printing of our current monthly catalog and the date stores will receive the next month's catalog. You can always verify pricing with Customer Service or your Sales Rep.
Freezing Weather & Shipping
Do not forget, as the weather gets colder, it is harder for us to ship products that freeze. If you have questions about how we handle cold weather shipments please ask when placing your order.
